No solo se llevó medalla de Funchal nuestra Selección Femenina Junior. También lo hizo en el Europeo de la categoría en suelo luso el español del Comité Nacional de Árbitros, el aragonés Carlos Ortega, el cual se llevó el "premio honorífico" de arbitrar el partido por el bronce entre las selecciones de Hungría y Holanda. Un partido que finalizó con 9—8 para las holandesas y que nuestro representante arbitró junto a la rusa Svetlana Dreval. Una vez más, felicidades, Carlos.

El litorial murciano fue testigo este domingo de la duodécima etapa de la IV Copa de España de Aguas Abiertas. Una prueba que se ha celebrado bajo la denominación de "Desafío Seaman" sobre una distancia de 8 5 kilómetros con triunfos de Eduardo Marrero (UCAM Fuensanta) y de Zoe Connolly (Elche CN).
